Support Shakespeare at Emory

Considered one of the most important publications in the Western canon, the 1623 First Folio collected and preserved 36 of William Shakespeare’s plays, half of which had not been printed previously. The Folger Shakespeare Library has selected sites for an ambitious 2016 traveling tour of this remarkable rare book. It has one stop in Georgia: Emory University
One of only 20 universities chosen, Emory is celebrating a  “Year of Shakespeare," highlighted by the November exhibition of the First Folio. The Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library, Emory College of Arts and Sciences, and Michael C. Carlos Museum will host related activities across campus for students and the general public, including lectures, workshops, exhibits, readings, performances, and more.

We need your support to help make all of Emory a stage. Please consider a gift today to fund this unique opportunity to display the First Folio and present activities and performances of Shakespearean proportions.
